Everyone loves the combination of peanut butter and chocolate. I have occasionally heard of people that didn’t, but they were obviously just trying to be nonconformist. Since I have recently re-discovered peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies, I’ve been submitting everyone I know to forcible dessert. And now, I’ll push them on you as well:

I know. Brussels Sprouts. I am aware that you may harbor profound brussels sprout-related anxiety and disgust, but please– are they really so bad? Well, when you boil or steam them, yes.
A few weeks ago we visited some relatives in The City where there just so happen to be scads of exclusively vegan restaurants. What the frick?

What is it about grilling that makes food taste so much better than the indoor interpretation? I find this especially vexing since we have a gas grill, and therefore the lovely “outdoor” taste cannot be explained by charcoal or actual burning wood. Nevertheless, it’s grilling season. Let’s do this.
Have you ever caramelized grapefruit? I might have an emotional bias because I wasn’t allowed to sprinkle my grapefruit with sugar as a child, but I think it is luscious.
